Early Treatment |
If a patient is referred at a young age then it is sometimes possible to provide simple treatment that can either eliminate the need for more complicated treatment later on or simplify and enhance the results of later treatment. At this stage the treatment may involve a simple Removable appliance for early correction of a small problem or a Functional appliance for early growth correction. |

3 to 9 months depending upon the case complexity. |
Fixed appliances |
Fixed appliance therapy is generally used when all adult teeth are present. In the case of children it can follow on from a phase of Early Treatment as outlined above. A Fixed appliance in its basic form is made from stainless steel that some adult patients may feel is too visible. However, a very inconspicuous option that is made from tooth coloured porcelain is also available. |
£2700 - £4000 |
Quoted fees may be made by an up front Lump Sum or by Instalments. Full payment by cheque, cash or debit card at the start of treatment qualifies for a 5% discount. The Installment option comprises an initial fee followed by the balance divided into 12 equal monthly payments made by direct debit through Isoplan. (Note: Isoplan charge a £10 registration fee and a £29.95 annual insurance fee) |
Most cases are completed within 18 to 20 months. A more accurate guide will be provided after records have been taken. However, even this estimate will be subject to unpredictable influences including patient cooperation. |
Invisalign |
The Invisalign® appliance is the ultimate ‘invisible’ appliance and is available for adult or teenage patients. Most Orthodontic problems respond well to treatment with the Invisalign® appliance and you will be advised during your consultation if you are a suitable candidate. |
