Our Philosophy
Facial expressions are important to all of us. When we smile we convey a sense of friendliness to other people. When we frown or glare it tends to indicate a hostile mood or at the best an indifferent attitude. Facial expressions are very complex and rely upon close interaction of muscles, facial features and of course, teeth.
We display a complete spectrum of emotions through these expressions, from anger to grief to sheer joy and fundamental to these is our smile.
_
Our visible emotions affect not only others, but also ourselves. It is not always obvious, but if we spend our time with a glum expression on our face we tend to feel in a glum mood. Likewise if we smile or laugh often then we tend to feel in a happier frame of mind.
Many of us do not smile as much as we would like. This can be for a variety of reasons, but sometimes it is because we do not like the appearance of our teeth – more specifically gaps and unevenness that are revealed when we smile.

Here at the Brace Place, Moira Brown and her team consider that their ultimate aim is to provide you with a smile that you are proud of – a smile that you are comfortable with - a smile that will make you and others around you happier. In addition to this, however, you must also be comfortable and relaxed throughout the course of treatment. To this end we can offer you appliances that are comfortable to wear and quite inconspicuous.
Having said all of this we can assure you that your dental health is of equal concern to us when prescribing any form of cosmetic orthodontic treatment.
